Consideramos que es fundamental crear un programa de investigación en nuestro país dedicado específicamente a las condiciones del espectro autista, para identificar características específicas de dichas condiciones en nuestra población.
Los proyectos de investigación en general están destinados a intentar profundizar el conocimiento sobre las condiciones del espectro autista, tales como etiología (causas), prevalencia, factores de riesgo, características neurobiológicas y neurofisiológicas, perfil neuropsicológico, condiciones médicas concomitantes, efectividad de diversos tratamientos, validación de instrumentos de pesquisa y diagnóstico, etc. Los estudios epidemiológicos y de factores de riesgo son muy importantes para poder diseñar políticas públicas y asignación de recursos según las necesidades locales.
Cómo Colaborar
Queremos invitar a las personas y familiares que tengan un diagnóstico de una condición del espectro autista (autismo/trastorno autista, síndrome de Asperger, TGD no especificado, trastorno del espectro autista) a participar en los diversos proyectos de investigación en curso. Si está interesado en participar de una investigación, quiere ampliar la información disponible, o realizar una consulta específica, por favor contáctese con investigacion@panaacea.org

MAR-ARG: “Trastorno del espectro autista relacionado con autoanticuerpos maternos”
- Mujeres adultas mayores a 18 años que sean madres biológicas de al menos un/a hijo/a con diagnóstico formal de CEA
- Mujeres adultas mayores a 18 años que sean madres biológicas de hijos sin CEA
AMSE: “Estudio de validación del AMSE (Examen del Estado Mental en Autismo)””
- Personas con CEA de todas las edades, sexos, niveles de lenguaje y cognitivo
Olavarría: “Proyecto piloto de prevalencia de CEA en la ciudad de Olavarría, Argentina”
- Familias de niños de 16 a 30 meses de edad que concurran a los centros de vacunación municipales del partido de Olavarría.
